About the StartWise Blog
The StartWise Blog publishes practical, founder-first playbooks for getting from idea to investor-ready: pitch deck teardowns, fundraising mechanics for pre-seed and seed rounds, and financial models that survive diligence. Every post is written to be useful on its own: no popups, no email gates, no "download the full guide" walls.
Comparison and tooling posts get one extra rule: honest treatment. When we compare StartWise to alternatives, you will see plainly what the competitor does well and who should pick them. A rigged comparison reads instantly as marketing, and credibility is the only asset a daily blog really has.
The editorial contract
Structure, not promises, keeps a publishing schedule honest. Every post has to clear a fixed set of publish gates before it ships, and the build literally fails if the basics are missing.
| Principle | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Named accountability | Every post carries Daniel Koren's byline: name on the page, author profile linked |
| Real data over vibes | We cite named sources, and where we can, we use anonymized aggregate insights from decks reviewed inside StartWise |
| Answer-first | Every post opens with a summary that answers the core question in under 60 words, plus three to five key takeaways |
| Freshness | Posts get refreshed when the data moves: the updated date means a human-reviewed revision, not a timestamp trick |
The same checklist applies whether a post took a morning or a week. If a draft cannot clear the gates, it waits. The schedule never outranks the standard.
Sourcing standards
- Every claim links to a named source, inline where the claim is made, with the full list at the bottom of the post.
- Aggregate product data is anonymized. Patterns from decks reviewed inside StartWise inform the playbooks; no founder's deck or numbers are ever identifiable.
- Updated dates are real. The "Last updated" date on a post matches the dates search engines read, and it only moves when the content actually changed.
- All images are our own. Charts and figures are generated from the StartWise brand kit, never stock, never hotlinked.
